I must first admit that I am most certainly not a cooker or baker, although I probably enjoy baking WAY more but the extent of my cooking abilities goes as far as dialing for take out :)
For this reason, I wasn’t sure of how exactly to use Nectresse, besides of course pouring some on my cereal (which I did almost daily) and so I looked online for some help. Below you will see one of my favorite recipes to make because not only is it delicious but it is easy and quick to make. I made these for my son’s birthday and he loved them but best of all, by using Nectresse natural sweetener I knew I didn’t have to worry about added calories or artificial ingredients…enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup yellow cake mix
1 Tbs Nectresse or 3 packages
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups milk
3 Tbs sprinkles
2/3 cup yellow cake mix
1 Tbs Nectresse or 3 packages
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups milk
3 Tbs sprinkles
- Mix everything together and portion your pancakes out (pour about half cup per pancake) on a hot griddle. When finished cooking, top with whip cream and sprinkles. Homemade whip cream can be made by using 3 packets of Nectresse, 1 package of vanilla instant pudding, 1 tsp. Vanilla extract and 8 oz. Heavy whipping cream (use more whipping cream for a thinner consistency).
